For stations

Litro can’t set or change prices. It shows the prices stations file with the Price Observatory, exactly as listed, and checks for changes several times a day.

If a price on Litro is out of date, update it with the Observatory in the usual way. Litro picks up the change on its next check.

The Observatory doesn’t publish when a price was filed, so Litro shows since when a price has been listed instead.

Litro shows your brand followed by the street, as they appear in your Observatory listing. To change them, update the listing through the Consumer Protection Service.

Your station’s pin is placed at the coordinates in your Observatory listing. Where they are missing or clearly wrong, Litro sets the position by hand. A station without a usable position isn’t shown until it’s corrected.

If your station shows up in the wrong place, first check the coordinates in your Observatory listing. If they are right and the pin is still wrong, let us know.

Opening hours and facilities, such as a 24-hour payment machine or a shop, come from OpenStreetMap, the free map that anyone can edit. If your station has no opening hours there, Litro doesn’t show any.

To correct them, find your station on openstreetmap.org, choose Edit and update its details. The OpenStreetMap guide for fuel stations lists the tags to use. Litro reads OpenStreetMap once a week, so changes appear within about a week.

The order depends only on price and road distance from the driver. No station can pay to appear higher, and Litro has no ads.
